WARISAN 3: Blue Mansion
Online Exclusive
An original papercut3D of landmark buildings printed on art card paper, hand-cut out in 3 layers to create a three dimensional image complete with mat border. These big buildings are historical places within the old town of George Town, Penang during the straits settlement in the 1850s-1920s.
Cheong Fatt Tze built his Penang home and office around the end of 19th century. Today, it is known as Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion or Blue Mansion. The mansion was constructed in a time where an open influx of west and east cultures influenced lifestyle and architecture, resulting in what is known as the straits eclectic style.
