Telok Ayer Street Red

Regular price RM35 MYR

Art print created from an original watercolour painting by Lorongandlane.

A chinese clinic building with red doors, windows and intricate stuccoworks located at Telok Ayer Street, Singapore among old religious buildings and clan associations. The Malay name refers to "bay water" because Telok Ayer Street was previously a coastal road.  In late 19th century, reclaimation at the bay area pushed the sea shore line further away.
