            This corner terrace house is located near to a football playing field of the Chinese Recreation Club. This club, formed in 1892, eventually build a clubhouse and a field which was named Victoria Green to commemorate Queen Victoria. The road next to it was also named Victoria Green and nowadays known as Jalan Padang Victoria. Today, this house which used to be a residence is converted into a 'Peranakan' restaurant (Victoria Green Corner). It's distinctive shanghai-plastered walls and horizontal features is influenced by the Art Deco style.
